How to Pay Your Collier County Water Bill Online

The county’s official online payment gateway is operated through InvoiceCloud. Customers can make a one-time payment without registering or create an account for recurring payments and billing history.

Option 1: One-Time Payment Without Registration

  1. Open the payment portal. Visit Collier County InvoiceCloud.
  2. Select Pay My Bill. This option handles current and past-due utility balances.
  3. Enter the utility account number. Copy the number from your statement, including all leading zeros.
  4. Verify the account. Provide any additional billing information requested by the secure system.
  5. Choose a payment method. Available methods include major payment cards and electronic checks. Digital wallet options are also listed.
  6. Review the total. Check the utility balance and any convenience fee before completing the transaction.
  7. Save confirmation. Keep the receipt until the payment appears on your utility account.
Quick payment option: InvoiceCloud describes its One Time Pay service as a payment route that does not require registration. It is useful when you only need to pay a bill and do not want to manage another login.

Option 2: Register for Online Account Management

Customers who want payment history, paperless statements and scheduled payments can create an InvoiceCloud profile.

  1. Visit the official utility portal.
  2. Choose the account registration option.
  3. Provide the requested account and contact information.
  4. Complete registration and sign in.
  5. Open your utility account to review bills, payment history and available payment settings.

InvoiceCloud supports scheduled payments, AutoPay, paperless billing, payment reminders and access to up to two years of payment history.

Collier County Utilities Login: AutoPay, Paperless Billing and Pay by Text

The same InvoiceCloud account can help you manage recurring utility payments rather than entering payment information every month.

AutoPay

Schedule automatic utility bill payments using an accepted payment method.

Paperless Billing

Receive electronic billing notices instead of relying entirely on mailed statements.

Payment History

View up to two years of available payment history and review previous transactions.

Pay by Text

Enroll in text notifications and use your saved payment method to pay from a phone.

How to Set Up ACH AutoPay and Avoid Card Fees

  1. Open InvoiceCloud and register or sign in.
  2. Find the AutoPay enrollment or management option.
  3. Choose a checking or savings account as the funding source.
  4. Enter the bank routing number and account number carefully.
  5. Review the automatic payment authorization and save your setup.
  6. Confirm the first scheduled draft and continue checking bills for unusual charges.
Why ACH matters: Collier County specifically recommends bank-account ACH AutoPay for customers who want to avoid the 2.5% debit/credit card convenience fee.

If the portal does not recognize your utility account or registration fails, contact Utility Billing at 239-252-2380 or utilitybill@collier.gov.

Collier County Water Bill Fees and Late Payments

Payment costs can affect which method is most economical, particularly for customers with larger water and sewer balances.

Charge or Payment TypePublished Information
Debit or credit card 2.5% convenience fee on the utility bill payment amount.
ACH bank AutoPay County-recommended option to avoid the card processing fee.
Late payment The payment portal states a 5% penalty for bills received after the due date.
After-hours meter unlock $74 after-hours service fee, in addition to the outstanding bill balance.
Electronic check Available through the payment system; bank clearing may take 3–5 business days.

Example: A $200 utility bill paid by debit or credit card incurs a $5 convenience fee at 2.5%, making the payment total $205.

Already disconnected? InvoiceCloud instructs customers to pay the outstanding balance through Pay My Bill. If requesting an after-hours unlock, select the separate After Hours Unlock Service payment too. Both payments are required for that after-hours restoration option.

For normal business-hours reconnection, follow the county’s instructions and verify the applicable restoration charges. Do not assume the after-hours fee is required in every reconnection situation.

Start or Transfer Water and Sewer Service in Collier County

Collier County Public Utilities has an important account rule: water and sewer accounts are established in the property owner’s name. A tenant living at the property does not automatically become the named account holder.

Buying a Home: How to Transfer the Account

  1. Open the county’s Customer Service Forms page.
  2. Locate the Buy And Sell Property section.
  3. Open and complete the county’s New Customer Form.
  4. Prepare one accepted ownership document, such as the recorded warranty deed, closing disclosure, certificate of title or qualifying settlement statement.
  5. Include any required buyer and seller signatures shown in the county instructions.
  6. Submit the form and supporting information through the official process and follow up if the transfer has not been confirmed.

A settlement or closing document must satisfy the county’s signature requirements. A recorded warranty deed must show the county clerk’s recording information where required.

Renting a Property?

The county provides an Add/Remove Tenant Form. The property owner should follow that process when tenant details need to be added or removed.

Do not confuse a tenant update with a property ownership transfer. The county’s billing account ownership policy still applies.

Moving or Changing a Mailing Address?

Use the Change Billing Address Form from the county’s Customer Service Forms page. This is especially useful for seasonal homeowners who receive utility correspondence somewhere other than their Naples-area service property.

Connecting a Property From Well or Septic to County Service

For a request to connect an existing well or septic property to county water or sewer, email connectionrequest@collier.gov.

Include the property’s address, contact details and the specific service requested. Ask about system availability, engineering requirements and applicable connection charges before arranging private plumbing work.

High Water Bill? Collier County Leak Adjustment Rules

A running toilet, damaged irrigation line, pool leak or underground plumbing problem can increase water consumption before you notice anything wrong. Collier County provides a credit-adjustment request process for eligible situations.

How to Request a Possible Billing Adjustment

  1. Identify the problem. Compare the high-usage period with previous bills and investigate possible leaks.
  2. Repair the issue. Use a qualified repair professional when appropriate, or document permitted repairs performed yourself.
  3. Keep evidence. Save receipts, photos, invoices and repair dates.
  4. Open the official form. Visit Customer Service Forms and select Credit Adjustment Request Form.
  5. Attach the required documentation. Professional repairs need a detailed invoice showing the date, service address and description. Self-performed repairs need the county’s specified supporting evidence.
  6. Submit within the deadline. The county requires the request within 30 days of the date the high meter reading is posted to the account.
Do not miss the 30-day window. Waiting until multiple new bills arrive may affect eligibility for a credit review. Filing a request does not guarantee that an adjustment will be approved.

Check These Common Leak Sources

  • Toilets: A leaking flapper can cause continuous water use even when nobody is flushing.
  • Irrigation: Broken sprinkler heads and underground lines can waste significant water during timed watering cycles.
  • Pool equipment: Check automatic refill systems and visible leaks around filtration equipment.
  • Outdoor faucets: Look for dripping connections or wet ground.
  • Meter use: Compare water consumption when all known fixtures are off. Contact the utility for meter assistance rather than tampering with county equipment.

For billing questions, call 239-252-2380. For a suspected county water-line problem or service leak, call 239-252-6245.

Collier County Water and Sewer Rates Effective October 2026

Collier County approved Water and Sewer Rate Resolution 2026-60, effective October 1, 2026. Customers comparing current statements against older bills should check which rate schedule applies to the service period.

A utility bill can contain several charge types:

Bill ItemWhat It Means
Water service charge Fixed charge associated with water service and the account’s applicable meter or customer class.
Water consumption Charge based on metered water usage under the approved rate schedule.
Sewer service Wastewater service and applicable usage-based or fixed charges.
Irrigation quality water Reuse or irrigation-quality water charges where the property receives that service.
Previous balance or adjustment Earlier unpaid charges, credits, penalties or adjustments.

Rather than using outdated monthly rate estimates, access the county’s official Water and Sewer Rates Effective October 1, 2026 document in the Rates section.

Billing tip: If a statement covers a period crossing a rate change, compare the service dates and approved rates before assuming an increase is due to a leak.

No Water, Low Pressure or a Water Main Break? Use NotifyNow

Collier County’s NotifyNow service helps utility customers check known service issues, receive alerts and report water problems.

It is useful when you want to know whether a neighborhood outage has already been reported rather than making repeated calls.

Report a Water Problem Online

  1. Open the official NotifyNow instructions or visit NotifyNow.
  2. Open the service issue map.
  3. Check whether the problem is already listed for your area.
  4. Choose Report an Issue.
  5. Identify the service address using the requested account number, cell number or address information.
  6. Select the relevant issue, such as no water, low pressure or an outside leaking pipe, and submit the report.

Report by Text

If your mobile number is registered with the account, text OUT to 239-252-6245 to report an issue.

  • OUT: Report a water service issue.
  • STATUS: Check the reported issue’s status.
  • HELP: Request help with the text system.
  • QUIT: Unsubscribe from notifications.

Hurricane season preparation: Florida’s Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1–November 30. Before a major storm, save the utility emergency numbers, follow county water advisories and use official alerts instead of relying on neighborhood rumors.

Collier County Lawn Watering Schedule and Irrigation Restrictions

Collier County’s Water Conservation Ordinance applies to landscape irrigation using drinking water, private wells and reuse or irrigation-quality water.

For most established landscape irrigation covered by the county’s general schedule:

Address TypeAllowed Days
Even-numbered street address Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
Odd-numbered street address Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
Friday No irrigation
Daily restricted hours No irrigation between 10 AM and 4 PM

For example, a home ending in 246 is an even-numbered address; a home ending in 247 is odd-numbered.

Check the official irrigation restrictions for exceptions, temporary changes and requirements that may apply to newly installed landscapes.

Local water-saving tip: Naples-area irrigation systems often water large landscaped lots. Check sprinkler coverage after maintenance and reduce scheduled watering after substantial rainfall. Broken irrigation lines can raise a bill even when indoor water habits have not changed.
